Our Doctors
Dr. Andrea Claire Gilford Johnson, MBBS
Graduated from the University of Guyana in November 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. She also has a Diploma in Medical Technology (with distinction), specializing in hematology. She also has certifications in the American Heart Association basic and advanced life support programme. Dr. Gilford Johnson joined MoonGate Medical in January 2023 from Bermuda Medical Specialties Group (BMSG). Prior to that, she was at the British Virgin Islands’ Dr. Orlando Smith Hospital as Medical Registrar. Her interest is community and preventive medicine and she is known for her excellent attention to detail, trustworthiness, compassion and high quality of work. Her motto is “treat others, as you would like to be treated as a patient and to deliver compassionate healthcare.”
Dr. Caren Griffith-Fadlin, MBBS, MPH
Received her medical degree from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, in 2006. After completing her studies, she continued training at the University Hospital of the West Indies in the areas of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She did additional training in Psychiatry at the University Hospital of the West Indies and in Primary Care at the Ministry of Health, Jamaica. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health degree at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, in 2018. Dr. Griffith-Fadlin has a warm and engaging personality, a genuine love for people and is well-liked by her patients. She has a passion for medical intervention at the primary care level and focuses on improving patient outcomes through patient education and empowerment.
